Halloween 2015

We had Jack14 (Star Wars Lego Character, Yoda and a bat!

We had friends at our house for chili then headed out in the rain to Trick or Treat. Luckily minutes after walking out, the rain stopped and we had a great time. Jack LOVED trick or treating and even said, "Treat" every time someone opened the door.

Fall Festivities and Halloween

We love this time of year. The weather is beautiful especially coming off a hot end of summer. We hit a couple farms and had a lot of fun with friends. We picked some pumpkins and played with the animals. Halloween cooled way down and we froze while trick or treating but we were with good friends so it did't bother us. We had a fun filled October! Halloween 2013

This year for Halloween the boys were a Police Officer, Bat and a Pumpkin. We went trick or treating on November 1 because of bad weather on October 31. We went with our friends again this year. Trick or Treating started with supper and play at August and Miller's house. When we hit the road to trick or treat Jacob really had a great time running from house to house. Joey let Daddy carry him most of the way and sweet Jackson slept on Mommy the whole time. Once we got home we counted the candy and each picked one to eat before bed!

Pumpkin Patch 2013

Took the yearly trip to Gentry Farm in Franklin, Tennessee to hit the pumpkin patch and get our yearly pumpkins. Jacob and Daddy did all the work. Joey is not cut out for manual labor so he stood on the sidelines. (Maybe it was also the fact that he was pretty tired and it was pretty hot.) We picked up the pumpkins and then had some fun in the activity area. We could not leave with out a hayride. Oh, what fun!

Halloween 2012

We have had a great October! It went from the 80's to the 50's over night so we had some adjusting to do but that did not stop the festivities! We went to a Halloween party at a friend's house, a Halloween party at school and then dinner with friends before trick or treating. The boys had a lot of fun, Jake enjoyed trick or treating the most! He said, "I never been out this late before!" Each time he went up to a house he would run back down to us and show Josh and I his candy. He just couldn't believe people were giving him candy! He really enjoyed himself! Joey, on the other hand, was super sleepy but he held it together! Click to see more pictures.

Pumpkin Patch

We headed out to Gentry Farm for some fall fun! The boys got to take a tractor ride, play in corn, go through a hay maze and picked pumpkins. Check out the pictures, click below.

Happy Halloween

We had a fun filled day of Halloween activities! Starting with carving a pumpkin, then Jake's first school party and ending with Trick-or-Treating. Jake decided at the last minute that he did not want to be a "worker" again this year but instead wanted to be a bat. My only guess on where this came from is from reading Halloween books. Joey was a pumpkin and did great through the Trick-or-Treating and through Jake's school party! He is an angel as long as I am holding him! :)

We headed out to the Pumpkin Patch to pick our own pumpkins. We went to Gentry Farm last year too but Jake enjoyed it a lot more this year! We had a great time taking a hayride, seeing farm animals, playing and of course picking pumpkins! Check out our pictures...
