Dig, Dig Park

We have a local Metro Park that has fenced off a portion and created dirt mounds and trenches for children to play in. They included a log cabin and tons of tools and trucks for the kids to use! Jake has renamed this park The Dig, Dig Park! It is his favorite place on Earth!

Today we went right after a large rain fall. Good thing we wore our boots!
(Although, little good they did once he fell into the puddle!)

Building

Jake spent some time working while we were in Ohio. Aunt Melissa and Uncle Steve were building a patio and a fence. Jake wanted to get right into the mix! He spent a lot of time outside 'working'. We are not quite sure what exactly he was doing or thinking but he knew! Look closely at the pictures and you can see his mouth puckered, he is making the sound of a motor. Each piece of wood was some kind of motorized tool! :) Ah, to know what goes on in their little minds!

A New Cousin! Baby Benjamin

We were able to go visit Jacob's new cousin, baby Benjamin. Jacob loved the new baby and named him Bean. He couldn't stop giving him kisses. Now we can't wait for our new baby!
Scrumptious!!

Strawberry Picking

We took Jake strawberry picking at a local pick-your-own farm. He really enjoys doing this because as we know he is a 'worker'!

Dairy Farm

We took a field trip to a dairy farm with our play group! Jake loved hearing all the moos from the cows. He loved the farmer as well. He was a young kid and great with the little ones. We were able to get close to the cows and chickens and even learn to milk a cow using a wooden cow with rubber utters. His favorite part was the tractor and got a little upset when he couldn't ride it!
