Labor Day at Mammoth Cave

Aunt Melissa and Uncle Steve had to cancel their trip to Charleston because of flooding so we decided to meet at Mammoth Cave. We had a nice visit and a fun time playing with cousins even if Isla was teething!  We went to Kentucky Down Under, Dinosaur World, and a boat ride through a cave.

Christmas 2013

We headed to Ohio again for Christmas. The boys were all sick and did a great job in the car! (We might just need to be sick before every trip to Ohio.) Beyond the drive the sicknesses kept us from taking our visit to Zanesville and visiting some other friends. I think the boys had a great Christmas overall.

Folly Beach 2.0

We took our second Folly Beach vacation and loved it as much as our first! The only complaint was that it was too short of a trip. At least this time we flew instead of driving! The boys took their first airplane ride and did a great job!

We were away for 5 day but had wedding activities for 3 of the 5 days. We enjoyed the sweet and small wedding but would have liked more beach time as well, we should have stayed a month!

The boys did get to dig on the beach and jump in the waves. We were able to spend some time with Auntie Johnna and Uncle Brad as well as Cousin Bean and Auntie Melissa and Uncle Steve.

We took a boat ride and tour of Charleston Harbor with Gammy, Grandpa, Uncle Rob, Aunt Jane and Auntie Johnna and Uncle brad. The boys loved the boat and we even were able to see some dolphins.

Apple Picking in Ohio

While in Ohio for a wedding we were able to do a little apple picking with Auntie Melissa, Uncle Steve and Bean! Although it was freezing cold we still had a good time! We picked apples and then had a little fun in an activity area. Benjamin, Jacob and Joey enjoyed playing in some dirt and we all enjoyed some snacks. Click below to see the pictures.

Cousin Bean's Visit

Auntie Melissa and Cousin Benjamin drove down and stayed with us for a week. We really enjoyed having them with us and getting to wake up and play with them everyday! It was so much fun even though Benji was   getting his molars. Check out the pictures of our fun week!

Cousin Bean's First Birthday

We knew we had to head to Columbus for Bean's first birthday so the boys and I hopped in the car for a short trip. Since Benjamin was born Jacob has called him Bean, unable to say Ben. He just loves his cousin and was so looking forward to the party and the cake! Jacob was a little too vigorous "helping" Bean unwrap his presents but Ben can hold his own!!  Here are some of the photos of the big day! Click the picture below to see more.

Year in Review- 2011

2011 was an amazing year! We welcomed a cousin and a new brother! We went to the beach and to Ohio, Jacob started school and we did a lot of playing!

Jacob's personality has really come out this year. Plus he has an amazing work ethic! He spent most of the year mowing and building- we enjoy watching every minute of it!

Joey entered our family making us a family of four and we could't love him more! Jacob loves his little brother and they have already started playing together. Joey is the sweetest baby!

A New Cousin! Baby Benjamin

We were able to go visit Jacob's new cousin, baby Benjamin. Jacob loved the new baby and named him Bean. He couldn't stop giving him kisses. Now we can't wait for our new baby!
